Bikram Yoga's Uniqueness FAQ 

Bikram's Beginner Hatha Yoga is unique because it is a carefully crafted 90-minute sequence of 26 yoga postures and breathing exercises designed to work into every part of the body.  These copyrighted yoga postures work "every single tendon, ligament and muscle, from bones to skin, inside out"!  Many of our regular students attest to this, feeling the benefits from their very first class.

Bikram's Beginner Yoga offers the added advantage of being preventative, therapeutic and healing yoga devloped over 30 years ago.  It is scientifically designed to systematically address every part of your body through its 26 carefully formulated postures over 90 minutes, developed for beginners while still challenging for advanced students.

Bikram Yoga Classes are always practice in a room heated to body temperature.  The heat allows for greater flexibility, it minimizes muscle strain, lactic acid build up, reduces the chance of injury, allows for greater cleansing of the body and builds tremendous stamina and endurance.  In addition, the room is mirrored to allow for greater body awareness and to refine and deepen our postures with easy self-correction.
